Donald Rex Young

Donald Rex Young,84, of Doerun, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at a family home.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Stephan Massey officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Born June 5, 1941, in Worth County to the late Emmit Primus Young and Letha Mae Whittington Young.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Laverne White Young; and 7 brothers and sisters.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Ann Grier Young of Doerun; sons, Kenneth Young of Worth County, and Chris Young and wife Carla of Moultrie; daughter, Pam Wisham of Moultrie; grandchildren, Haley Harrold (Cameron), and Hannah Wisham (Jay); great grandchildren, Ryleigh Taylor, Simon Schmidt, Kalan Marshall, Madison Schmidt, and Bentley Schmidt; brother, Jimmy Young of Doerun; and sister Carolyn Edwards of Leesburg.
