Donald Lee Hart, Sr., 94, of Moultrie, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Legacy Village at Park Regency.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Andy Cashwell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Brody Herring, Ben Elliott, Landon Hart, Brett Howell, Brad Hart, and David Norman will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am.

Born on April 6, 1932, in Brooks County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Hart and Sarah Farmer Hart. Mr. Hart retired from Procter & Gamble and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Guy Hart; sisters Dorothy Spruill and Regina Hart.

Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Elmyra Norman Hart of Moultrie; sons, Don Hart and wife, Christy of Summerville, SC and Bob Hart of Moultrie; daughters, Dianne Smith and husband, Lamar of Birmingham, AL and Jennifer Rich and husband, John of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Leah Hart, Landon Hart, Leyton Hart, Amos Smith and wife Julia, Georgia Williams and husband, Craig, Ben Elliot, and Katelyn Fine and husband Colton; great-grandchildren, Hudson Fine, Harper Fine, Eli Smith, and Anton Smith; brother, Wandell Eugene Hart and wife, Gladys of Moultrie; sisters, Shirley Blanton of Spencer, OK and Carolyn Herring and husband Jerry of Madison, FL.
