Denny Craig Manning, 62, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home in Moultrie, with Reverend Caleb Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Born on January 29, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late James Leo Manning and Ernestine Dell Beach.
Mr. Manning was an Army veteran, and he retired from the Colquitt County Prison, where he worked as a corrections officer for many years.
He enjoyed spending his free time fishing and playing pool.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Manning.
Mr. Manning is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Welch Manning; his sons, Craig Manning and wife Imarald, and Hunter Manning; his daughter, Mandolin Manning, all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Caelan Manning and Waylon Manning; brothers, Dave Manning of Moultrie, and Doug Manning of Valdosta; sisters, Melanie Buckland of Norman Park, and Debbie Vizcarrondo of Valdosta; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Heart Association.
