Dennis Shelton

Dennis Wayne Shelton, 69, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Austin Glass and Rev. Milford Stanley officiating.

Born on August 9, 1953, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late James Chatham Shelton and Marie Ball Shelton. He was the owner and operator of D&C Trucking and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Shelton is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Bridges Shelton of Moultrie; sons, Derrick Eldridge of Leesburg, and Dennis W. Shelton, Jr. of Moultrie; daughters, Stacy Grantham and husband David of Hamilton, Georgia, Lora Sixkiller and husband Emory of Moultrie, and Nichole Linsley of Moultrie; brothers, Jimmie Shelton and wife Darlene of Moultrie, and David Shelton and wife Tammy of Grayson, Georgia; sister, Carla McMahan of Moultrie; and grandchildren, Hunter Grantham, Jordyn Grantham, Nicholas Sixkiller, Logan Sixkiller, Elise Eldridge, Evan Eldridge, and Ethan Eldridge.
