Donnie Lee Tillman

Donnie Lee Tillman, 71, of Berlin, Georgia, died on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at South Georgia Medical Center.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 pm at the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The family will have a private service to follow.

Born on March 4, 1955, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charlie Theron Tillman and Ruby Glass Tillman. Mr. Tillman served for many years as the manager of BCT and more recently at 4 Corners Gin. Outside of his work, he had a deep love for music, beginning at the young age of 10. A gifted musician, he played the guitar, banjo, dobro, and harmonica, all by ear.

Mr. Tillman is survived by his son, Joseph Tillman and wife Katie of Hahira; daughter, Amber Chism and husband, Jim of Pelham; grandchildren, Blakely Tillman, Emma Tillman, Caroline Tillman, Autumn Tillman, Chap Chism, Frannie Chism, and Clara Chism; brother, Steve Mercer and wife Janice of Rock Hill, SC., Mike Tillman and wife Janet of Berlin; sister, Marsha Bell and husband, Cleve of Moultrie.

Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
