Darrell Craig Dickerson

Darrell Craig Dickerson, 56, of Doerun, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on June 26, 1969, in San Diego, California, he was the son of Sandra Daughtry Miller, of North Charleston, South Carolina, and Darrell Fate Dickerson and Wilmalee Dickerson of Corpus Christi, Texas. Craig worked as a plumber with E&H Plumbing in Moultrie, where he was known as a dependable and hardworking man who took pride in his work and the friendships he built along the way.

In his free time, Craig enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he appreciated the peace and simplicity those moments brought him. He valued time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for his kind heart, easygoing nature, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Craig was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Miller; his brother, Chris Jones; and his stepfather, Lee Miller.

Craig is survived by his wife, Cretes Kidd Dickerson of Doerun; children, Kyle Dickerson and wife Kristy of Doerun, Brittany Herndon and husband Michael Grey of Norman Park, and Donnie Herndon; grandchildren, Zoey Herndon, Kaden Smith, Zackary Staller, and Zaleigh Herndon; siblings, Travis Dickerson, Carl Miller, Steven Owen, Eddie Miller, Renee Alford, and Tierlyn Flores.
