Danny Ray Stanaland, 75, of Norman Park, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church in Norman Park, Georgia, with Reverend Michael Baer officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The deacons of Southside Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Danny was born on March 23, 1951, in Moultrie, Georgia. He was the son of the late Edgar Crawford Stanaland and Inez Gatlin Stanaland. Danny honorably served his country in the United States Army before retiring from Chaparral Boats after many years of dedicated work. He found great joy in spending time on the water, especially fishing, and treasured every opportunity to be with his family. A man of deep faith, Danny faithfully served as a deacon at Southside Baptist Church and was a devoted member of the church family for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christa Maria Stanaland of Norman Park; son, Jens Stanaland and wife Cindy of Norman Park; grandchildren, Monica Parker and husband, Les, of Moultrie, and Leah Edwards and husband, Quin of Adel; great-grandchildren, Colby Lee Baker, Leo Edwards, Zachary Edwards, Hadley Edwards, and Nolan Parker; and sister, Linda Albritton and husband G.A. of Sorento, Florida.
