William Danny Baker

William Danny Baker, 73, of Norman Park, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Buck Creek Church Cemetery with Reverend James Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends at Baker Funeral Home on Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 4:00-5:00 PM.

Born on June 24, 1953, in Adel, GA, He was the son of the late Sam Baker and Carrie Dunlap Baker. He retired from Quailridge plantation. He will be remembered as a loving husband, daddy, and granddaddy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sammy Baker and sister, Ann Baker.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Sara Moore and husband, Dusty, Sam Baker and wife, Makenzie, and Travis Baker all of Norman Park; grandchildren, Lexy Moore, Douglas Moore and wife, Rose, Aubrey Kate Moore, Toby Moore and Aidaleen Baker; great-grandchild, Eliana Moore; sister, Sue Gupton and husband Steve of Valdosta; nieces and nephews, Ram Baker and wife, Catina, SueAnn Barratt and husband, Oliver, and Hunter Wills.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colquitt Regional Hospice, 415 Rowland Dr, Moultrie, GA 31768.
