Cody Cane Welch

Cody Cane Welch, infant, went to be with Jesus on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A private family graveside service will be held at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM with Pastor Justin Hardy officiating. Chase Hardy, Noah Hardy, Rylee Hardy, Jasper Spires, Joshua Welch, and Austin Cox will be honorary pallbearers.

Born on August 24, 2026, in Moultrie, he was the son of Summer Pailey Marie Hardy Welch and Noah Carl Welch.

He was preceded in death by his, great grandparents, Gary Taylor, Carey Spires Sr. and Ethel Spires, Martha Ann Bufford, Carey Spires, Jr., Deborah Anderson, Ronald Yost, Dolores Yost, and Ernest Kimsey; and uncles, Cody Welch and Chevy Bivins.

In addition to his parents, he was survived by his grandparents, Melissa and Jamie Spires, and Jessica and Justin Hardy; great grandparents, Brenda and David Plymel, Tracy and Danny Welch, Janie Kehl, Butch Anderson, and Carolyn Smith, Patricia Guzman and Bernice Kimsey; and aunt and uncles, Miya Kimsey,  Leeanna Kimsey, Alice Kimsey, Joshua Welch, Austin and Harlie Cox, Chase Hardy, Rylee Hardy, Hannah Hardy, Gunner Hardy, Noah Hardy, and Jasper Spires.
