Christopher Eugene Liles, 49, of Moultrie, died Friday, September 29, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born on March 28, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, he was the son of Victoria “Vicky” Lynn Crow Liles and the late Hamp Eugene Liles. Chris built a distinguished career in banking, serving as Vice President of the Tax Division at First Citizens Bank. A leader who combined expertise with humility, always mentoring others and working tirelessly to ensure excellence in every endeavor. His professionalism and steady guidance left a lasting impact on the institution and all who had the privilege of working with him.
Beyond his career, Chris cherished time with his family and friends. He was known for his generous heart, sharp wit, and ability to make everyone feel valued. Chris was a caring and compassionate father, son, and brother. A solid rock of the family, spending quality time with his son, family, friends, and showing strength in all the great and tough times. He was goal oriented with optimism, a natural leader, tech wizard, and enjoyed music, TV, and movies. He was the man to provide some advice, he was firm and fair, and gifted with wit and humor. “The greatest father ever” and a truly spectacular person.
In addition to his mother, Victoria “Vicky” Liles of Moultrie, he is survived by his loved and adored son, Brayden Christopher Liles; brothers, James Liles-Ramos of Tampa, Shane Liles of Moultrie, and Jared Liles of Jacksonville, Florida; and sisters, Megan Liles of St Augustine, Florida and Deleah Liles of Jacksonville, Florida.
