Charles Mark Sloan, 63, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the VFW in Nashville, Georgia.
Born on May 6, 1962, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Bernice Gordon Sloan and John Sloan. Mr. Sloan worked as a handyman doing odd repairs around town. He had a knack for fixing just about anything — from leaky faucets to broken lawnmowers — and people knew they could count on him when something needed mending. In his spare time, he loved working on vehicles and could often be found tinkering in his garage late into the evening. But what he enjoyed most was riding his mopeds. The thrill of the open road, the hum of the engine, and the wind on his face brought him a sense of freedom that nothing else could match.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy William Sloan and Ronnie John Sloan.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Robin Abbott; daughters, Maggie Taylor and Gina Lane; brothers, Glen Sloan and Joseph Berry Sloan, both of Moultrie; sister, Patricia Sylvester of Albany; 4 step grand kid.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home & Crematory.
