Charles Henderson McKellar

Mr. Charles Henderson McKellar, Sr., 86, of Norman Park, passed away on, Monday, February 19, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 13, 1937, in Scooterville, Georgia, he was the loving son of the late Joseph Henderson McKellar and Nellie Barfield McKellar.
Mr. McKellar retired as the Executive Vice President of Winn Dixie after 47 years of service. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Moultrie. Mr. Charles raised to Master Mason in Ft. Pierce, Florida on October 23, 1972. He was a loving papa to his 18 grandchildren and great-papa to his 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Charlotte Lee Tanner McKellar; daughter, Teresa Ann Arrowood; brothers, Frank McKellar, Lee McKellar, infant Carl McKellar, James McKellar, J.J. McKellar, and Ben McKellar; and sisters, Vernell Kelley, Dollie Crumbley, Louise Spotanski.
Mr. McKellar is survived by his son, Charles H. McKellar, Jr. and wife Charissa of Norman Park, Georgia; daughters, Dahlia Brewer and husband Jay of Cumming, Georgia, Charlotte Burnett and husband Brandon of Norman Park, Georgia, Margie Garcia and husband Cesar of Adel, Georgia, Fran Jackson of Orange Park, Florida, and; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann McKellar Collins and husband Brian of Tifton; brother-in-law, Henry R. Crumbley Jr. of Omega.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Hugh Ward officiating. Trent Colman, Jerry McKellar, Wayne McKellar, Ray Saunders, Gerald McKellar, H.R. Crumbley, and Barry McKellar will serve as honorary pallbearers. Entombment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
