Carolyn Ann Trumbull

Carolyn Ann Jay Trumbull, 65, of Omega, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Barker officiating. Jadon Stamps, Blaine Stamps, Danny Stanberry will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Leila Church Cemetery. 

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time.

Born on January 15, 1959, to the late W.C. “Pete” Jay, Jr. and Betty Lackey Jay. Mrs. Trumbull was very active in her church where she shared her love for God, others, and her gift of singing. Ann was always caring and kind. She handled life’s struggles with determination and patience and she was loved by all who knew her. As the anchor to her family, she was a quiet source of strength and steadfastness. Her genuine smile made you forget your troubles for a moment, and you felt her love within her hugs. Surely, she will have many crowns to throw at Jesus’ feet. Ann retired after 25 plus hard working and dedicated years to Proctor and Gamble. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Trumbull.

Mrs. Trumbull is survived by her sons, Joey Trumbull and wife Hope of Baconton, and Jeffrey Trumbull of Omega; daughter, Lauren Trumbull Dickens and husband Mark of Baconton; grandchildren, Blaine Stamps and Jadon Stamps; brother, Tony Jay and wife Donna of Jacksonville; and extended family and friends.
