Carolyn Roberts, 77, of Norman Park, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Horne and Reverend Marlon Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Presley Hamilton, Greg Harrell, Clay Conger, Kent Hamilton, Brad Sellers, and Justin Searcy will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Born on January 14, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charles Harrell and Tressie Mae Barker Harrell. Carolyn devoted many years to serving her community, working in the operating room at Colquitt Regional Medical Center before continuing her calling with Colquitt County Hospice. She was devoted to loving and helping others. Her work with hospice held special meaning for her, as it gave her the opportunity to share her gifts while bringing comfort and compassion to others. Outside of her work, she loved tending to her yard and was known for her beautifully blooming flowers.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Lester Passmore and Joe Wendell Roberts, and her brother, Jerry Harrell.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Leisa Stone and husband Alan of Norman Park, Amy Cox and husband Joey of Alpharetta, GA; step-daughter, Shana Roberts Goodno of Moultrie; sisters, Charlotte Sellers of Moultrie and Joyce Conger and husband Buddy of Norman Park; brother, Johnny Harrell of TX; sister-in-law, Karen Norton and husband Bruce of Norman Park; grandchildren, Emily Luna and husband Jesus of Cumming, GA, Elizabeth Cox of Alpharetta, GA, Zac Goodno and wife Naomi, Hannah Goodno of Moultrie, Hunter Stone and wife Maggie, Nathan Stone and wife Shanay, Annabelle Stone and Elijah Stone; great-grandchildren, Everly Luna, Leif Ledford, Joseph “Dak” Goodno, Emma Grace Leon, Maverick Leon, Eliza Stone, Rowen Stone, Akeria Stone, Jasper Stone, Bella Stone, and Gavin Stone; special caregiver, Kristie Childers ; and her pet companion, Izzy.
