Carolyn Douglas Crew

Carolyn Juanita Douglas Crew, of Isabella, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2022, Poulan Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Jason Jones officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born on March 26, in Worth Co., Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Frances Gay Gray. Mrs. Crew was of the Christian faith and attended Isabella Baptist Church. She loved traveling, cooking, taking daily walks, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Arthur and Frances Gray, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester N. Douglas; and grandson, Rodney Allen Brown.
Mrs. Crew is survived by her husband, Russell J. Crew of Isabella; children, Juanita Massey and husband Eugene, Paula Brown and husband Boyd, Stephen Douglas and wife Allison, Shane Douglas and wife Debbie, Russel Crew, Jr. and wife Sherry, Jodi Smith, and Kerry Crew; grandchildren, Geni Wentworth and husband Chad, Ramsey Brown and wife Hope, Brandon Brown, Haylee Jackson and husband Zach, Tess Douglas, Chapel Douglas, Kristi Gonzales and husband Eric, Amber Smith, Rachel Crew, Sarah Whitman and husband Daniel, Russell Crew, III and wife Bella, Maggie Smith and husband Corey, and Jenny Grace Crew; siblings, Lenora Wood, Mrytice Spring, Lois Spring, Helen Sessions, and Welton Gray; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
