Carolyn J. Alderman

Carolyn Jane Alderman, 84, of Moultrie, died Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating.  Interment will follow at Baker-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born on September 19, 1936, in Moultrie, Georgia, Mrs. Alderman was the daughter of the late Ansel Parrish Tucker and Clara Belle Smith Tucker. She was a retired nurse and was a member of Mount Olive Baptist church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alderman is proceeded in death by her husband, James Ward Alderman; daughters, Julie Carol Thomas and Rhonda Joyce Godfrey; one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Alderman is survived by a son, James Ward Alderman, Jr. of Moultrie; grandchildren, Casey Fowler, Christopher Godfrey, Trey Alderman and wife Renee, Ansley Alderman Glisson and husband Jonathan, Preston Alderman, and McKenzie White; great-grandchildren, Savannah Alderman, Aaliyah Alderman, Kaden Godfrey, Avriana Scott, and Carter Alderman; brother, Jim Tucker and wife Gloria of Rome; and son in law, Robert Thomas of Moultrie.
Family and friends are welcome from 2:00pm-3:00pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home prior to the service.
