Carl Melvin Kelley

Carl Melvin Kelley, 66, of Pavo, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 am.

Born on November 18, 1960, in Thomasville, Georgia. He was the son of the late C. M. Kelley and Nadine Thomas Kelley. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he worked as a mechanic, a profession that suited his hardworking nature and ability to fix and build things.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his daughter, Sierra Kelley; brother, Grady Preston Kelley and a sister Darlene Kelley.

Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife, Shelia McIntire of Pavo, Georgia; sons, Chance Morgan Kelley and Jacey Duckworth of Adel, Georgia; grandchild, Coy McKinlee Kelley; brothers, Leonard Kelley of Norman Park and David Lee Kelley of Norman Park; sister, Earnistine Kelley of Moultrie.
