Carl Hayes

Carl Thomas Hayes, 89, of Moultrie, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Pruitt Health.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. A private interment will be held at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Born on November 30, 1932, in Coffee County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Pearley Hayes and Minnie O’Neal Hayes. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Moore Hayes; brothers, Farris Hayes, Willie Hayes, G.R. Hayes, and Vernis Hayes.
Mr. Hayes is survived by his son, Timmy Lee Hayes and wife Debra of Moultrie; grandchildren, Rebecca Hayes, Kimberly Hayes, and Morgan Cooper and husband James; great grandsons, Matthew Hayes and Josiah Hayes.
