Caridad Lourdes Expósito, de 85 años, residente de Moultrie, falleció el domingo 24 de agosto de 2025 en Colquitt Senior Care.

Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 27 de agosto de 2025 a las 10:00 a.m. en Baker Funeral Home. El sepelio será en Baker / Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Nacida el 11 de febrero de 1940 en Holguín, Cuba, era hija de los fallecidos Francisco Velázquez y Julia Leal. Caridad tuvo un profundo amor por la Palabra de Dios y dedicó incontables horas a la lectura de su Biblia. La leyó en su totalidad varias veces, encontrando en sus páginas fortaleza y paz. Su fe inquebrantable como una devota Testigo de Jehová guió su vida y le brindó consuelo.

Será recordada por su espíritu apacible, su dedicación a la familia y su firme fe. Su vida fue un ejemplo de amor, humildad y entrega a Dios.

Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanos y hermanas: Francisca Velázquez, María Cecilia Velázquez, Leonardo Velázquez, Santiago Velázquez, Matilde Velázquez y Miguel Velázquez.

Le sobreviven su amado y devoto esposo, Alfredo Expósito, de Moultrie; sus hijas, Anna Julia Expósito y su esposo Daniel, de Miami, y Noemí Quesada y su esposo Zamir, de Moultrie; su hijo, Alfredo Expósito, Jr. y su esposa Pura, de Moultrie; sus nietos, Maryday Riverón y su esposo Jefferson, Lisandra Expósito, Galvin Pérez, Leandro Expósito, Zair Quesada y Nohelí Quesada; sus bisnietos, Evelin Cañete y Logan Pérez; así como varios sobrinos, sobrinas y familiares extendidos.

Caridad Lourdes Exposito, 85, of Moultrie, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Colquitt Senior Care.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Baker /Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Born on February 11, 1940, in Holquin, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Velazquez and Julia Leal. Caridad had a deep love for the Word of God and spent countless hours reading her Bible. She read it through several times, finding strength and peace in its pages. Her unwavering faith as a devoted Jehovah’s Witness guided her life and brought her comfort.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to her family, and her steadfast faith. Her life was an example of love, humility, and dedication to God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Fransica Velazquez, Maria Cecilia Velazquez, Leonardo Velazquez, Santiago Velazquez, Matilde Velazquez, and Miguel Velazquez.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Alfredo Exposito of Moultrie; daughters, Anna Julia Exposito and husband Daniel of Miami and Noemi Quesada and husband Zamir of Moultrie; son, Alfredo Exposito, Jr. and wife Pura of Moultrie; grandchildren, Maryday Riveron and husband Jefferson, Lisandra Exposito, Galvin Perez, Leandro Exposito, Zair Quesada, Noheli Quesada; great grandchildren, Evelin Canete and Logan Perez; and several nieces and nephews and extended families.
