Bobby Poole

Bobby Ray Poole, 68, of Moultrie, died Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 2pm until 5pm at the home of Mr. Bobby Poole.

Born on May 29, 1956, in Moultrie, Bobby was the son of the late Willie Lee Poole and Bernice Louise Price Poole. He was a self-employed home mover and of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lynwood Poole and Tommy Poole; and sisters, Patricia Kelley and Jill Conner.

Mr. Poole is survived by his loving and caring spouse, Peggy Diana Daughtry Jett of Moultrie; daughter, Angela L. Poole Shellhouse and Derek Jett of Moultrie; stepson, David Jett and fiancée Chrissy Dean; grandchildren, Nicholas Shellhouse, Logan Shellhouse, Zoey Shellhouse, Gabe Shellhouse, Seth Shellhouse, Kameron Shellhouse, Eddie Jett, Sara Jett, Heather Jett, Elijah Jett, Hunter Hines, and Jaymie Hines; great-grandchildren, Kayden Jett, and Nadaia Hines; brother, Wayne Poole; and special friends, Charles Sloan, Tommy and Angela Payne, Billy and Larry Strickland, and their families.
