Betty Ruth Hart Thompson, 73, of Moultrie, died Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter and Rev. Jeff Parmer officiating.
Born on January 1, 1947, in Pavo, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Willie Hart and Evie Cooper Hart. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was an avid gardener and a caring and loving childcare provider.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Hart; and nephew, Michael Pittman; mother and father in law, Hazel and Bobby Thompson.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Franklin Rudene Thompson of Moultrie; daughter, Jodi Thompson Pridgen and husband Jacob of Fitzgerald; son,  Will Thompson and wife Amanda of Leesburg; brother, Ed Hart and wife Joan of Pavo; sisters, Laverne Folds Sapp and husband Jason of Norman Park, Lanelle Schramm and husband Glen of Valdosta, Debbie Pittman and husband Steve of Moultrie, and Robin Hester and husband James of Pavo; sister in law, Diantha Hart of Douglas; grandchildren, Judd Pridgen, Jaci Pridgen, Wesley Thompson, Bradley Thompson, Reed Turner, Cory Morris and all her special babies she cared for over the years; sisters in law, Lawana Garren and husband Ernie, and Pam Sanders and husband David; and brother in law, Cleve Thompson and wife Donna Lynn; and several nieces and nephews
