Betty Ann Melbourne Crosby,68, of Pavo, passed away, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Crosby was born on July 11, 1953, in Tokyo, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Sydney Melbourne and Yoshiko Takahashi Melbourne. She was a retired nurse from the military and she served in the United States Air Force.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Crosby, Sr.; son, Charles Richard Crosby, Jr.; daughter, Mary Ellen Washington; brother, Daniel Melbourne, Sr.; sister, Marolyn Kennedy.
Mrs. Crosby is survived by her sons, Jack Aaron Crosby and wife Jennifer of Valdosta, David Jonathon Crosby, Sr. and wife Deirdre of Lake Park, David Jonathon Crosby, Jr.; daughter, Tina Ann Crosby Wright and husband John Wright of Colorado Springs; brothers, James Melbourne and Wife Nancy of Athol, Massachusetts, Todd Melbourne and wife Tracey of Springfield, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Justin Sullins, Jason Charles Crosby, Dawson Richard Wright, Aryelle Crosby, Johnny Washington, Alexis Washington, Lee Hamilton, Gavin Hamilton, Veronica Yale, Dylan Hamilton.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
