Belinda Joy Redmond Kelley

Belinda Joy Redmond Kelley, 73, of Moultrie, died Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service to celebrate Joy’s life will be held at a later date.

Born on October 5, 1951, in Panama City, Florida, she was the daughter of the late William A. Redmond, Jr. and Esther Pearl Perry Redmond. Joy worked in the financial industry for many years, beginning her career as a banker and later retiring as a tax preparer for H&R Block in Moultrie. She was well-respected by colleagues and clients alike for her professionalism and dedication.

Outside of her work, Joy had a passion for collecting antiques and enjoyed finding unique treasures. Her greatest joy, however, was her family—especially her beloved grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them, and one of her favorite things was FaceTiming with her grandson, sharing smiles and laughter across the miles. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Kelley; cherished daughter, Susie Dawn Kelley; and brother, William A. Redmond, III

Mrs. Kelley is survived by her beloved daughter, Sara Ann Mercer and husband Dennis of Houston Co., AL; grandchildren, Brandon Kelley and wife Megan, Tyra Mercer, and Jaiden Mercer; sister, Susie Webb and husband Andy of Moultrie; and brother, Jim Redmond and wife Sophronia of Panama City, FL; and several nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home & Crematory.
