Bailey Reid Kirkland, 28, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Nick Anno, Jaymes McMurphy, Chay Lindsey, Daniel Wall, Kenny Crosby, and Cole Truett will be pallbearers.
Born on December 5, 1997, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Traci Lollar Watson and Kevin Kirkland. Bailey passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy rooted in the land, the outdoors, and the people he cared for. Bailey was a man most at home under an open sky—whether he was setting out before dawn for a day of hunting, casting a line into a quiet stream, or working the fields that he tended with steady hands and a full heart.
His love for farming wasn’t just a way of life; it was a reflection of who he was—patient, hardworking, and deeply connected to the rhythms of nature. Bailey found joy in the simple, honest work of growing things and took pride in every harvest.
Those who knew him will remember his easy laugh, his stories from early mornings spent in the woods, and his willingness to help anyone who needed it. He brought warmth and sincerity to every room he entered and every community he touched.
Bailey’s memory will live on in the land he cared for, the traditions he passed down, and the countless moments shared with family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Braswell, Myrtice Braswell, Jimmy Hornbuckle, and Joseph Lollar; and siblings, Cambri Hornbuckle and Zane McMullen.
In addition to his parents, Traci Lollar Watson and husband Jeff and Kevin Kirkland and wife Santana, all of Moultrie, he is survived by his sisters, Kailey Anno and husband Nick, Destiny Kirkland, Daisha Kirkland, Reign Clifton, and Denim Kirkland; grandmother, Laura Lollar; niece, Saylor Reid; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
