Axel Cade Sexton

Axel Cade Sexton, 5, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Macon Navicent Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2026, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Julian Griner officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Born on April 16, 2021, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of Jennifer Lusk and Eric Sexton.

Axle was a beautiful little boy whose bright smile and joyful spirit brought happiness to everyone who knew him. He loved spending hours playing with his Hot Wheels cars and monster trucks, using his wonderful imagination to create adventures of his own. Every moment with Axle was a gift, and his laughter, sweet heart, and the love he shared with his family will be treasured forever. Though his time here was far too short, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain in the hearts of those who loved him always.

Axle is survived by his parents, Jennifer Lusk and Eric Sexton; his sisters, Madalyn Sexton and Emily HIll;  his brothers, Gage Sexton, Gavin Sexton, Tanner Sexton, and Alex Hill; his grandmother, Angela Sexton; his great-grandmother, Viola Sexton; aunt and uncle, Julie Hurst and Matthew Walden; cousins, Jaxon Hurst and Jayce Hurst; and special friends, Christy Turner and Jonnie Turner, Amanda Braswell, and Robbie Kearce.
