Auburn Stripling

Auburn Stripling, 86, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

No formal service will be held.

Born on October 12, 1939, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Brinson Stripling and Ruth Harris Stripling.

Auburn loved reading the Bible and enjoyed fishing in his free time. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothea Ann Perkins Stripling of Moultrie; his son, Ken Stripling and wife Jill; grandchildren, Ryan Stripling, Justin Stripling, and Kayli Stripling; great-grandchild, Naomi Sue Stripling; sister, Laverne Sutton; half-sister, Cassandra Bassinger; and half-brothers, Kenneth Kerce, Steven Kerce, and Kevin Kerce.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Aubrey Stripling; sister, Wynell Norman; and great-grandchild, Clayton Daughtry.
