Arnette Maria Moss

Arnette Maria Moss, 67, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arnette Maria Moss was born on January 8, 1959, in Miami, Florida, to Lorie Moss and the late Alfred Moss. She received her early education at Shadowlawn Elementary and later attended Edison Senior High School. Following her education, Arnette worked as a waitress for several years before beginning a career in the medical field, where she was employed with the Miami VA Medical Center.

As life went on, Arnette met and fell in love with the late Walter Hamilton. Together, they were blessed with two children, Royce Hamilton and Regina Hamilton. She was also a proud grandmother to her two grandsons, Jayce Hamilton and Noah Hilton, who brought her great joy.

Arnette is survived by her loving children and grandchildren; her mother, Lorie Moss; and her siblings, Ingrid Moss-Lowe and husband Alex, Craig Moss and wife Toni, and Fredrick Moss and wife Pearl.

Arnette will be remembered as a devoted mother, a loving daughter and sister, and a cherished friend to many. She had a joyful spirit and a heart for others, finding happiness in cooking, making people laugh, playfully teasing those she loved, and caring for children.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
