Angula McGuill

Angula Loyas Waites Hiers McGuill, 88, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Pruitt Health-Moultrie.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Buck Creek Church Cemetery with Rev. Julian Griner officiating.
Mrs. McGuill was born on May 3, 1933, in Dexter, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Cullen Waites and Lola Stripling Waites. She was retired from Diversified Enterprise where she worked for 20 years as a caregiver and therapist for older adults with Down Syndrome.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Cullen Waites, Calhoun Waites, Jerry Waites; sisters, Aubrey Cannady, Lazelle Roberts, Hazel Long; and daughter, Kathy McLean.
Mrs. McGuill is survived by her son, Glenn Hiers and wife Carol of Loudon, Tennessee; brother, Lloyd “Mann” Waites of Norman Park; and sister, Juanita Weeks of Moultrie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
