Amy Denise Buckner Curtis, 52, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Born on March 11, 1973, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Mary Spires Carr of Moultrie and the late Truman Buckner. Mrs. Curtis taught at Cox Elementary School. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her mother, Mary Carr and husband Ronald, Mrs. Curtis is survived by her husband, Clinton Curtis of Moultrie; son, Forrest Max Carr and wife Shanandoah of Moultrie; brother, Mark Buckner of Norman Park; sister, Christy Knight and husband Jamie of Baker, Florida; grandchildren, Forrest Briar Carr and Tatum Rena Carr; and many nieces and nephews.
