Amalia Salas Zacariaz, 59, of Omega, died on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at her Emory University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on July 10, 1966, in Chiapas, Mexico, she was the daughter of Teresa Zacariaz and the late Miguel Zacariaz. Mrs. Amalia Salas Zacariaz was a devoted homemaker whose life was centered around the love and care of her family. She found great joy in creating a warm and welcoming home, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her greatest treasures were her children and her beloved husband, Jose Trinidad Rodriguez, whom she loved deeply and faithfully throughout her life.

Mrs. Zacariaz dedicated herself to caring for her family, providing unwavering support, guidance, and affection. Whether through a home-cooked meal, a comforting word, or a helping hand, she expressed her love in countless ways. Her kindness, strength, and selfless spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Trinidad Rodriguez; sons, David Patino and Miguel Salas; brothers, Juan Jose Salas, Onorio Salas; and sister, Maria Salas; and several nieces, nephews, and extended families.
