Alexander Adam Carter

Alexander Adam Carter, 36, of Norman Park, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born on April 30, 1989, in Riverdale, Georgia, he was the beloved son of Joyce Vickery Lawson and Troy Lawson. Alex worked with Southland Growers. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and tinkering with vehicles, a hobby he had a natural talent for.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Collin Carter; brothers, Chris Carter and wife Candice, Joshua Lawson and wife Candon, Jesse Lawson and wife Lexie, Stewart Carter and wife Mary; sister, Ashley McMillian and husband Keith Castleberry; aunts and uncles, Christy Pridgen, Mary Gonzalez, and Shawn Davenport; and an abundance of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews.
