Alex Frank Hodnett

Alex Frank Hodnett, 77, of Moultrie, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Pruitt Health.
Mr. Hodnett was born on December 11, 1944, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Autrey Hodnett and Vera Mae Clements Hodnett. He was a self-employed mechanic and was of the Holiness Faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Castleberry Hodnett of Moultrie; sons, Dewayne Hodnett, Frankie Hodnett and wife Perscilla and Alexander Hodnett all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Justin Hodnett and wife Becca Jo, Josh Hodnett and wife Summer, Gaston Hodnett, Kellen Hodnett, Donna Lee Hodnett, Jada Hodnett, , Emanuel Hodnett and Levi Hodnett; great-grandchildren, Kristie Lee Hodnett, Emma Grace Hodnett, Madilyn Grace Mims and Brynleigh Lemona Young; Brother, Albert Hodnett and wife Judy of Moultrie; sister-in-laws, Joan Brown of Cordele, Lanora Brown of California. daughter-in-law, Donna Lynn Hodnett of Norman Park.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodnett is preceded in death by his, son, Michael Allen Hodnett; granddaughter, Isabella Grace Hodnett brothers, Henry Brown and William Brown; sister, Jeanette Summerlin; brother-in-law, Ralph Summerlin.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Shiver officiating. Jimmy Rogers, Shawn Castleberry, Gabriel Hodnett, Anthony Woods, Bo Rogers and Tony Rogers will all serve as pallbearers. Justin Hodnett and Josh Hodnett will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
