Mildred Lou Smith Young

Mildred Lou Smith Young, 73, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Purvis and Rev. Benny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be David Plymel, Danny Welch, Justin Willis, Matt Dozier, Justin Manley, and Devin Adderton.
Born on October 23, 1944, in Norman Park, she was the daughter of the late Howard Samuel Smith and Willie Bee Hester Smith. She retired from Riverside Rentals and was a member of Open Door Christian Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ronda Sue Young; brothers, Grady C. Smith, Gilbert Smith, Eugene Smith, and J.W. Smith; and sisters, Ruby Williams, Effie Hodges, Virginia Smith, Lorine Smith, and Faye Giddens.
Survivors include her husband, Tracy Martin Young of Moultrie; sons, William H. Willis and wife Caroline of Cumming, and Bobby Joe Willis of Moultrie; daughters, Stephanie Hope Dozier and husband Matthew and Tonya Felice Young of Norman Park; grandchildren,  Aisha Parsons, Amber Adderton and husband Devin, Rikki Manley and husband Justin, Emily Dozier, William Justin Willis, Zakary Willis, Joseph Willis, Haley Willis; brothers, Dannis Howard Smith of Omega, and Benny Smith and wife Susan of Augusta; and sister, Clara Mae Johnson and husband Medford of Albany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
