Tommy David Saturday,65, of Moultrie, passed away, Saturday, December 11, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. James Pendell, Rev. Walter Mingledorff, and Rev. Ike Branch officiating. Private family burial will be held Friday, December 17, 2021. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Born September 6, 1956, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Saturday, Jr., and Hilda Kent Saturday. He earned his bachelor's, master's, and specialist degrees from Valdosta State University. He was retired from the classroom after 30 years but continued to teach in various capacities both with the Colquitt County School System and Southern Regional Technical College until his death. He was a member of the First Church of Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Saturday, and Kenneth Saturday; and sister-in-law, Carol Saturday. Mr. Saturday is survived by his niece, Kimberly Saturday (Kameron) of Moultrie; nephews, Chris Saturday (Emily), Ben Saturday (Sonya), brother in law, Larry Wimberly (Lavonia) of Moultrie; sister in law, Vickie J. Riddle of Valdosta; niece, Lisa Wimberly Croom (Barry); nephews, Kevin Wimberly; great-nieces and nephews, Will Harrison, Kara Beth Saturday, Kaitlyn Poag, Isabelle Poag, Skyler Saturday Katie Wimberly (Pedro), Carrie Grace Wimberly; great-nephew, Beckham Luna; and special friend, Justin Sullins (Tavi). Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made to: Moultrie First Church of the Nazarene 410 12th Avenue SE Moultrie, Ga 31768. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
